Starz Animation is hosting a recruiting event for 3D CG professionals.

Location: Bier Markt, The Esplanade, Toronto
Bring: A resume and a reel – they are being collected at the door.
Time: 6:30-8:30pm

Come have a drink and a chat with department heads and other reps from the busiest animation studio in Toronto. Currently working on 1 feature film and 2 other projects — we’re hiring!!

Texas Hold’Em night in Toronto – AD Club of Toronto

Now here’s some fun! The AdClub of Toronto is holding it’s second Texas Hold’Em night. The last one was a blast with the winner picking up a grand prize trip to Vegas to play in some deeper water.

Tickets are $40 a head which includes some food, a drink and your chips to get you started. Proceeds go towards NABS. Last time the winner at each table received a prize and the excitement in the room was great as the winners of each table eventually migrated to the final table for the big showdown.

If you’ve watched any of this card phenomenon on TV you’ll know the kind of energy it creates. It’s definitely worth checking out! Tickets go on sale soon.
